The City of Shimmering Webs....
is located in the North, deep below the Tara Ras Orodrim Mountain range, in a huge mile deep cavern.
The cavern is crisscrossed with spiders webs that have been magically calcified. These webs sparkle and shimmer in the lights, both magical and natural.
The city is built on these platforms, and individual dwellings have the appearance of great cocoons.
Ched Nasad, founded by House Nasadra, lives according to the Way of Lloth, and is pledged to remain friendly with Menzoberranzan. This is another matriarchal city of drow, ruled by a council of the Matron Mothers from the highest ranking houses. However House Nasadra holds sway over the other houses.
The worship of Lolth dominates here, and the government is similar to that of Menzoberranzan.

We are currently looking for more writers and role players. please do join into our newly formed roleplay setting.
We also are accepting additional houses into the city. If you are interested in role playing an entire drow house please post that desire along with you characters bio in the character creation forum.

The UnderDark
  Drider Har olen
Below the housing levels of the dark city lie sinuos and sinister caverns whose existence serves many purposes. A road-way of sorts, it is often used to travel quickly from one end of the underdark to the other. If one were to delve deeper into its crevices however, one would likely find denizens of the dark such as deadly Driders or perhaps the not so benign Dragazhars. The damp and oppressive caverns are illuminated sparingly with flourescent fungii, forever casting eeri light upon all who enter.

The Blood pass, in common tongue, known also as Falqua En Agar in high elven, for it is they that originally named this mountain pass. It runs from north to south right between the mighty Mountain range known to the high elves as Tara Ras Orodrim. It is a most feared region for many reasons, one of which being that it is the most infamous and commonly accessed entrance to the UnderDark in the region above.

The lights of the city reflect pallidly upon the water creating shimmers and shreds of ghostly colors on the cavern walls. The cold and lonesome darkness envelopes all who stand upon the shores. Strange aquatic weeds stand motionless until motion from beneath the waters surface causes them to move. Exotic creatures live beneath the murky waters unseen as they swim in shadow.

There is an ever-changing, always busy area of the city; a rowdy, untidy labyrinth of stalls and hagglers whose fame has spread across the Underdark. Known in common tongue as The Bizarre its ongoing trade attracts merchants and goods from all the underdark, and even a few items from the land above.Merchants and shoppers of all races and lands are welcome - and it is even whispered that some of the more mysterious traders come from places beyond the stars - Above the World Above - or other planes of existence!

Resonating with magic, the Temple of Lloth can be felt as well as be seen towering over all other structures and buildings. The true focal point of the city, it stands as a glorious beacon to the higly revered Spider Goddess. Tread lightly upon these holy grounds or you just might become another sacrifice to the unquenchable Priestesses who reside here.

Beneath the Noble Houses but above the lesser populace lies what outsiders might consider a tavern but what is rightfully called The House of Pleasure. All are welcome within this dimly lit structure though understanding one's position is highly fortuitous. The main room, the tavern, is large and holds many shadowed tables for patrons to occupy. Upstairs one would find private rooms for dining or other affairs if one wished to rent such things. Beyond the main room lies areas only those of noble blood get to venture.

Opposite the Temple and not quite as elaborate, is the city's school of battle for male drow.Males of noble blood or those with extreme exception by a Matron are trained here to sere their house and more importantly Lloth.

  Qu ellar Nasadra
Standing proudly among the other noble houses, the house of Nasadra easily displays its social standing. Elegant and elaborate decorations of both physical and magical nature adorn its towering heights, allowing all to see that this house is alpha. Zilvafae Nasadra would have it no other way, she reveles in her house's domination and its power.

  Qu ellar Zasaviir
The Zasaviir house, only second to the house of Nasadra, stands menacingly before all to stare, demanding respect and awe. It holds much power and wealth due to the resourcefulness and success of the Matron Mother Naerth'ma. No windows adorned this massive structure. Polished walls of onyx stone, its entrances hidden and masked in deep pockets of shadow.

  Que ellar Ousstyl
Third house of Ched Nasad, the house of Ousstyl stood unwavering, a testiment to the prowess and power the Matron held. Eight tall spires sticking high into the air, reaching as if to touch the cavern ceiling high above.
